Pita Pit open in Ingersoll

As a customer, Kim Heutinck was so impressed with Pita Pit that she left her job of almost 20 years with Mac's convenience stores to become a franchisee of the Canadian restaurant chain.

Heutinck and her husband, Andrew, opened a Pita Pit in Tillsonburg about a year ago and expanded their business with a second location that opened at 174 Culloden Road Unit 2 in Ingersoll on March 5.

The Ingersoll restaurant is managed by the Heutinck's son, Carl.
